I haven't looked at Lays Local information so I feel as if I'm shooting from the hip here. However, I recall a recent NPR interview with Michael Palin that briefly mentioned Lays Local not in the context of CSR per se but as a diet-health issue. The point being, I think, is: will the marketing result in the continued or increased UNHEALTHY consumption of a food that's not really good for you, in the quantities that many people eat them? I like Lays but don't eat much processed food so usually am out of range of this kind of problem personally. |
