I support your organization by buying your paper and cleaning products. You were around a long time before I started putting my money where my heart is, and I thank you for waiting for us latecomers! Shame on me;}

Hi Deb... believe it or not there are cases in which print can be more effective and environmentally preferable to digital alternatives. The fact is that both print and digital media can have their advantages and disadvantages.

re stories vs data - it can never be one or the other. Numbers go up and down, and can be useful in clearly communicating a trend - but without narrative context, numbers alone can be a bit meaningless. Without knowing why or how a number has gone up or down, they don't tell the full story - and if you put it all textually, you don't necessarily give all your audiences the materials they need in a clearly digestible form. As for real time reporting - this has the potential to become very resource intensive. How do you see it working?

I just addressed this in our radio spot with Peter Deitz. We will have a recording available sometime in the next 10 days.Since I produced, http://jm.ly/JD3nTT for Peter Senge's folks, I have a lot to say about this and applying the practice.Just talked to Gund Institue, so I may give you a call next week about that conversation.

It took two weeks to be a bit crazed to see what I had to say. Leave it to Hazel Henderson to give me a challenge.My best to Jeff and all you wonderful Vermont neighbors. I should have called you the last time I was up in Vermont for the day at Gund Institute and did not have a chance.They have no health initiative and I am talking to Gary Flomenhart and a few folks at UVM about adopting my hard work for Solutions.Nice chatting with you here. I'll be in touch.
