2008 donations:

One of the most inspiring organizations we know of operates right here in Burlington, Vermont. YouthBuild creates opportunities for success for low-income city residents between the ages of 16 and 24. Experienced instructors from parent organization RecycleNorth provide classes offering credit toward a GED or high school diploma along with training in marketable skills. The eight-month program also requires a commitment to one-day per week of community service. Graduates emerge with skills, a diploma and hope for the future.
